Melbourne Spring Fashion Week 2015 (MSFW)

So it was official, Chicgeek85 as a blogger, has put the face to the name in Melbourne’s Fashion Industry. It was a total hit for Melbourne Spring Fashion week and here were my highlights.

28/08/2015:  I went to the Emporium Little Bourke Street Runway.  I was lucky enough to be at the front next to a photographer, which that means in human terms: pretty close!

Well done to Melbourne for being able to transform a little lane into a Runway.! It was fantastic.

Myer decided to bring out the big labels and get us ready for Spring Racing. Loved the Looks? They offered you a 20% ! I just had to say it was great way to open the Melbourne Spring Fashion Heavens.

The trends that I noticed were: Emerald Green , Elegance,Sheer, Colour  with pops of black & bling!. Cigarette Pants Suit for the ladies and for the Men Navy and Silver Coloured Suits are back on the menu.

30/08/2015: I was nervous as hell as this was my first runway event I went to as a blogger.  Firstly, I want to say that the kids of NOW are inspired. I was amazed on how “futuristic” the looks were. The music was as loud and inspired as the looks on the runway. Unfortunately that was my first time in the Melbourne Town Hall , I wasn’t sure where my seat was but I found out I was in the back. The room was full of inspired Emerging Designers. Reason I bought the ticket in the first place, was the fact is that they’re Emerging Designers and I am an Emerging Blogger.

I won’t be usually the first person to admit this but I am seriously excited for Spring Summer 2015! 🙂
